Cold Winter's Evening

It is a cold evening but not quite as cold as it has been. This is the kind of evening that you stay in and reflect on how good God has been. With thoughts of the Lord your innermost being is stirred by the fire of the Holy Ghost and it warms you instantly. Is it still cold outside? Sure, but on the inside of you the fire stays stirred.

Has God spoken to you today? Did you awaken this morning? Are you still breathing? The answers to these questions are yes. Do you have solitude and solace? Is anything lacking for you? Our God is still on His throne and He is still talking and directing each of our paths as we allow Him.

My prayer this evening---Lord, as we are sitting and thinking of You please hear our heart's cry and allow us to be vessels to witness for You, to seek those that are lost, pray for those that are hurting, sick, and needing directions to You. I pray that our lives are Holy before You and that we become a fruit bearing branch of You. Amen
